How does ChillArt detect if an artwork is AI-generated?
ChillArt uses a comprehensive multi-step process to detect AI-generated artwork and ensure platform authenticity:
- AI Detection API: All uploaded artwork is automatically scanned using AI detection algorithms that analyze patterns, artifacts, and characteristics common in AI-generated images.
- Moderation Review: Artworks flagged by the detection system undergo manual review by our moderation team. They examine the artwork for visual inconsistencies, unnatural elements, and other telltale signs of AI generation.
- Artist Verification: If there is doubt about the authenticity of an artwork, we may reach out to the artist and request additional information. This can include:
- Work-in-progress screenshots or videos
- Layer files or source files (PSD, KRA, etc.)
- Creation process documentation
- Additional context about the artwork's creation
- Final Decision: After the review process and any requested verification, a final determination is made before the artwork is published on the platform. This ensures that only authentic, human-created art is featured.
Why this matters: ChillArt is dedicated to supporting human artists and maintaining a community where genuine creativity is celebrated. This detection process helps preserve the integrity of our platform and protects artists' work.
What happens if an artwork is flagged as AI-generated?
- The artwork is not published until the review process is complete
- If confirmed as AI-generated, the artist is notified and the artwork is not posted
