Hi, I'm Nemesis
Hi everyone,
today someone on Discord reached out to me after seeing my art, asking if I'd like to join ChillArt - now here I am!
I'm a 21 year-old digital & traditional artist from Germany. I've been drawing ever since I can remember and tried learning everything about art fundamentals myself - therefore, I think I can safely consider myself as "self-taught".
I've been doing art commissions for about 7-8+ years now (yes, I started young - I used to take DeviantArt Points and Amino Coins as payment, if anyone remembers them)
Now I want to focus more on traditional and original art, as it is harder to get replaced by AI. The rise of AI had a huge impact on the art-sphere and it's impossible to ignore that. That's why I like to encourage people, who want to create art, to pick up a pencil and/or a brush, so they don't feel replacable and stay motivated to keep going with their art journey. Because... I've been at that point. When AI became a thing and especially when I saw how fast it is "improving", I thought, I can lay my hopes and dreams to rest. That my art wont have a place in this world anymore :( (ooooo, super dramatic i know oopsie haha). But at last I thought; that's not an option - I am irreplacable. AI is soulles and just steals human creation. Meanwhile humans are the real bearers and wielders of creativity. As artists, we hold power in a sense. Our creations can make people feel.
So, in conclusion and very not-respectfully: f$ck AI :)
Can't wait to meet all of you! <3
